What This Means for Players:
- No More Real Money Purchases: As of October 20, 2025, players are no longer able to make new real-money purchases within the game. Existing in-game currency (SimCash, Simoleons) can still be used until the final server shutdown.
- Delisted from App Stores: On October 21, 2025, The Sims Mobile was removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, preventing new downloads. However, players who have previously installed or downloaded the game can still re-download it from their app store libraries until January 20, 2026.
- Unlimited Energy: To ensure players can make the most of their remaining time, the final update grants everyone unlimited energy, allowing for uninterrupted gameplay and project completion.
- All Content Unlocked (January 6, 2026): In a generous farewell gesture, all “Build Mode” and “Create A Sim” items will be unlocked and made free for every player.
